Out here on the river, you get to thinking about a lot of things, and then you write a song or two. Blanco is a town of about 1,500 in the Texas Hill Country, and our place is a little over three miles to the West on the road to Luckenbach.
The Hill Country is full of musicians and artists, as well as a lot of people who don't want to be found (some of the musicians and artists would be in that latter category). It is a good place to live, eat good barbecue and chili, drink
as well as excellent wines from area vineyards and wineries,
and listen to really good music of many genres.
